Take a photo from a different perspective than you normally would. Maybe turn around, maybe change the angle, maybe kneel! Change your perspective!

Depth of Field
Play with your depth of field (if your camera allows it) to try and get a different feel for your photos. This can be particularly fun when shooting characters!

Reflections
Find something that creates a reflection and have some fun experimenting with what you can get! This can be a window, a puddle, another body of water, or something else!

Light
Light can be a lot of fun to experiment. Try different lighting conditions or times of day to get different results.

Composition
Composition can also change the feel of a photo completely. Play with some of the rules like the rule of thirds and others to change the feel of a photo.

Distance
How close or far the camera/lens is from the subject can completely change things as well. This can be a wonderful way to find and take some new and beautiful photos!

Everyone has to start somewhere when taking photos. It can be daunting to look at other people’s photographs and think that it would be impossible to ever take a photo like that. However, with practice and support, beautiful photos are just a click away! This can be a lot of fun to explore how to take different photos and where to take them. This is what Disney Photographers is all about. Together we encourage each other and provide ideas to create even better photos as we move into the future!
